Released in 2010, Elido is Sibylle Hagmann’s sans-serif companion to her slab-serif typeface Odile. It is a low-contrast design that is restrained alongside Odile’s more outspoken appearance. The family is made up of 16 styles, each in an arrangement identical to that of Odile – six weights, each with an italic, as well as an upright italic, initials, decorative initials, and ornaments. Elido is available through Village.
Role: Design extension & proofing, kerning, OpenType development, hinting, font production, and testing.
